Make sure you review these as Multiplying can be a bit tricky and does get mixed up with the DOUBLE SIGNS.
Both the DOUBLES and MULTIPLY use parentheses.

The difference is the first one has a minus sign between the 4 and the 5.

there is a negative sign between the 4 and the 5 in the first one, the second one does not.
ReplyDeleteThere is a subtraction sign between 4 and 5 in the first one and the second one doesn't have a sign between them.
ReplyDeleteThe first one has a minus sign, which makes you subtract the"(-5)" form "-4". The second one is just multiplication with the 2 numbers.
