Chapter 7.2

Good Afternoon to all,

Lesson 2 is on Special Angles, namely,

 COMPLEMENTARY and SUPPLEMENTARY ANGLES!

Knowing this information will be instrumental in solving many problems in Geometry. 

 So these are your vocabulary words to be added 

into your Reference Spirals!  

Complementary Angles are 2 angles that add up to 90*. They do not need to be connected, but generally they are.

Supplementary Angles are 2 angles that add up to 180*. Again, they do not have to be connected either.  

It is essential that you learn these angles as they are used frequently in solving problems, so..... 

I think of complementary angles as 90* and supplementary angles as 180* as they are alphabetically correct- meaning c comes before s and 90 comes before 180.

I also think that c is half of an s - so 90 is half of 180.

Or just LEARN THEM.  This is utmost important that you do so  as you are always in the lookout for 90* and 180*!

Check out the videos and take notes in your Reference Spiral and remember accuracy and appeal are important.
