Chapter 1.7 Constant Rate of Change

Good Evening to all and welcome to another riveting lesson on the blog.......

A RATE OF CHANGE is where one thing changes with another...... A CONSTANT RATE OF CHANGE is where this change is Equal to each other and this Constant Rate of Change is Linear (Line)if you were to graph it.  A constant rate of change is like a unit rate (1 on the denominator). As math often says itself, we are looking at changes from one unit to another.  If these changes are constant -their graph is a line.   I find this so wordy, do you?  Actually, the examples will help you understand another way things are proportional.  Hint Hint: Essential Question....
The difference between Constant Rate of Change and Graphing a PROPORTIONAL Graph is that they are both Linear, but Constant   Rate of Change does not have to go through the Origin.
