Chapter 2 PERCENT Lesson 1

Hello Everybody,

This week we are starting CHAPTER 2 PERCENTS!!

 Hurray hurray hurray. 

 You will be using a great deal of information from Chapter 1, so don't forget it. 

 And, remember when we were working with rates to show that objects are proportional or when we talked about slope and they looked and acted like Fractions? Well, we will continue on with things that look like fractions!  I know you are all happy about this. 

 Soon, Fractions will be your friends.

 The Essential Question in this chapter is: How can PERCENT help understand situations using money? You will find bits and pieces of this essay in every lesson in the chapter and on page 182 in your textbook, so be on the lookout for the clues...... This essay is due when we get to Lesson 8 on Simple Interest.  There will be due dates along the way, but I wanted to make sure you had a heads up on this requirement.

For Homework: Listen to the videos as many times as needed and take notes!!!!!!
